present at the next
Quarter Sessions}

It is Ordered by this Court that Thomas Sutton< no role > Esquire
one of his Majestys Justices of the Peace of this County
and also one of the Commissioners appointed for the
Licencing of Hackney Coaches and Chairs, be and
he is hereby desired to be present at the Court of
the next Generall Quarter Sessions of the Peace
for this County at Hickshall on Thursday the first
day of July next at three of the Clock in the
afternoon in Order to give his advice in relation
to some admeasurements which have been taken
by direction of the Commissioners appointed for the
Licenceing of Hackney Coaches and Chairs, within
the Weekly Bills of Mortality,

Order touching the
retorning of able
and skilfull
Grand Jurymen}

Whereas the Trust reposed by the Laws of this
Realm in Grand Jurys is and ought in reason and
Justice to be reputed and deemed a high Trust and of
grant moment and importance to his Majesty< no role > and his
Government as well as to his Majestys Subjects and
Suitors attending the Courts of Generall Quarter and
Generall Sessions of the Peace, And Whereas Strict
Charge hath been frequently from time to time
given to the Summoning Bailiffes of the Sheriff of this
County of Middlesex to Summon able Sufficient and
Substantiall Persons fitt to perform His Majestyes
Service and Discharge the Duty incumbent on them
as Grand jurymen to be upon the Grand Jury at the
Sessions of Peace for the said County, Yet Notwithstanding
the said Bailiffes have contemptuously and for the
Sake of corrupt here wilfully neglected to Summon
a great many able Sufficient and Substantiall Men
and in their room and place have frequently
Summoned Persons of mean capacitys and in low
Circumstances to be upon the Grand Jury at the
