Order for admitting Nichas
Ludford Petty< no role > Constable
of South-Mims into the
service of Passing Vagrants
Etc}

It is Ordered by this Court that Nicholas Ludford< no role > present Petty Constable
of South-Mims in this County be and he is hereby admitted into the
service of passing and conveying of Vagrants in and through this
County for the Year now next ensueing in the room and place of
Thomas Martin< no role > late Petty Constable of South-Mims aforesaid, At the
like Salary of forty pounds (which was paid to the said Thomas Martin< no role >
for the like service) to be allowed to the said Nicholas Ludford< no role > for his
trouble and expences in passing and releiving of Vagrants (he
duely performing the same) and to be paid to him quarterly as the
Court of General or Quarter Sessions of the peace for this County shall
in that behalf Order and direct.
