WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City of
London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Giles Cripplegate without
London, ThatElizabeth Coward< no role > the Widow of George Coward< no role >
deceased and George< no role > her son Aged Ten years are
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, andarelikely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath ofthe said Elizabeth Cowardas otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and we do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the saidElizabeth Coward and John< no role >
her son
to be in the said Parish of Saint Ann Soho in the
County of Middlesex
and that thithertotheyought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in His Majesty's Name to will and re-
quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish ofSaint Giles Cripplegate without
London, forthwith to remove and convey the saidElizabeth
Coward and John her Son
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish of
Saint Ann Soho in the County of Middlesex
Andtheydeliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with this
our Order, who is and are hereby required to receive and pro-
vide forthemaccording to Law. Given under our Hands
and Seals, this19th Day of December One Thousand
seven Hundred and Seventy five .
