The humble Petition and Appeal of the Church Wardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Anne within the Liberty of
Westminster in the County of Middlesex.

That by Virtue of an Order under the hands and Seals of

and Liberty thereof one being of
the Quorum bearing Date the Nineteenth Day of December last
A Woman
and Child in the said Order called and described by the Names and
Descriptions of
Elizabeth Coward< no role >
the Widow
of
George Coward< no role >
deceased
and
George< no role >
her Son aged ten years were removed and conveyed from
the Parish of Saint Giles Cripplegate without
London to the said Parish
of Saint Anne
(in the said Order called and described by the name of the
Parish of Saint Anne Soho in the County of Middlesex
) as the Place of
their last legal Settlement Whereby your Petitioners conceive
themselves to be aggrieved.
Your Petitioners therefore humbly Appeal to this Court
against the Adjudication of the said two Justices and their
said Eeder And pray that the benefit of this Appeal may be saved to your Petitioners
and that the hearing and determining thereof may be adjourned to
the next general Session of the peace to be taken for the said City
and the Liberty thereof
