Guildford in the County of Surry

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City of
London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Sepulchre
London, ThatJane Crow< no role > the Wife of William Crow< no role > who
hath deserted her word her Two Twin Children James< no role > and
Mary< no role > agedEightThirteen Months are
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, andarelikely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath ofthe said Jane Crowas otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and we do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the saidJane Crow
to be in the said Parish of the Holy Trinity in the Town of
Guildford in the County of Surry
and that thithertotheyought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in His Majesty's Name to will and re-
quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish ofSaint Sepulchre
London, forthwith to remove and convey the saidJane Crow and
her Two Children James and Mary
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish ofthe Holy
Trinity in the Town of Guildford in the County of Surry
Andthemdeliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with this
our Order, who is and are hereby required to receive and pro
vide forthemaccording to Law. Given under our Hands
and Seals, this23d Day of March One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Seventy Six .
