The humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Ann in
Black Friars
in the said City of London
Sheweth
That by Virtue of an order or Pass Warrant under the Hands
and Seals of two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said
City (one being of the Quorum) dated the Fourteenth Day of
August last past,

deceased whose Settlement cannot be found, was
removed from the Parish of Saint Sepulchre in the said City to the
said Parish of Saint Ann in Black Friars
as the Place of her last
legal Settlement
That your Petitioners think themselves aggrieved by the Judgment of
the said two Justices and therefore humbly Appeal to this
Honble Court against the same and
Pray that the benefit of their appeal
may be saved unto your Petitioners and
that the hearing and Determination
thereof may be adjourned until the next
General Quarter Session of the Peace
to be holden for the said City
