The humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint Luke in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth

That by virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under the
Hands and Seals of Sr. Robert Ladbroke< no role > Knight & Sr.
John Cartwright< no role > Knight two of His Majestys of the peace for
the City of London & Liberties thereof (one whereof being of
the Quorum) bearing date the 6th. day of October 1762 .
Ann LLoyd< no role > a Child aged four years and upwards a Bastard
was removed and Conveyed from and out of the Parish of
Saint Botolph without Aldersgate London to the said
Parish of Saint Luke Middlesex as the place of her last
legal Settlement

Your Petitioners conceiving themselves
aggreived by the said Order or Pass
Warrant of the said two Justices
Do humbly Appeal against the same
And Pray that this Court will be
Pleased to make such Order in the
Premisses for the releif of Your
Petitioners as they shall deem meet

And Your Petitioners shall ever pray Etc
