Poor of the Parish of Saint Botolph Bishopsgate
London, and the
Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint Mary at Whitechapel
in the County of Middx
and to every of them.

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City of
London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Botolph Bishopsgate
London, That Elizabeth Parfeet< no role > Wife of John Parfeet< no role > a
Soldier in his Majesty's Service whose Settlement cannot be
found and their three Children Mary< no role > aged Eleven Years Elizabeth< no role >
aged three Years and Ann< no role > aged one Year are
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, and are likely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath of the said Elizabeth Parfeet< no role > as otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and We do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said Elizabeth Parfeet< no role > and her said
three Children
to be in the said Parish of Saint Mary at Whitechapel
and that thither to they ought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in his Majesty's Name to will and re-
quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Botolph Bishopsgate
London, forthwith to remove and convey the said Elizabeth Parfeet< no role >
and her said three Children
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish of
Saint Mary at Whitechapel
And them deliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there; or to some or one of them, together with this
our Order, who is and are hereby required to receive and pro-
vide for them according to Law. Given under our Hands
and Seals, this 25th Day of Novr One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Sixty One
