WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the City of
London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Giles

and their Child

aged five
Years are
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, and are likely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath of the said

as otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and We do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said
Elizabeth Scott< no role >
and her Child
to be in the said Parish of Saint Peter le Poor
and that thither to they ought by Law to be sent.

quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Giles
London, forthwith to remove and convey the said

and her Child
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish of
Saint Peter le Poor
And them deliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there; or to some or one of them, together with this
our Order, who is and are hereby required to receive and pro-
vide for them according to Law. Given under our Hands
