maketh Oath and saith that he was present this dayYesterday
when the Body of a newborn male Infant [..] was taken
from the Necessary at Depts. Dwelling House, that the
same was taken up bya nightmanthe hand of a
Nightman who was sent for for that purpose, that
when it was taken out he observed a wound at [..] the Corner
of the right side of the Infants mouth, but Dept. cannot
form any Judgment what occasioned the wound nor
can he form any Judgmentwhether the same was world
or not.

having this Morning been informed that Mary Samuel< no role > This name instance is in set 732. This set is in the group(s): MothersOBP .

was suspected to have been delivered
of a Child and had thrown the same down the Necessary
there, he was desired by hisyourMistress to go to the said
Necessary in Order tofirsttake the same from thence; says
he immediately went there & saw the Child,but it was
to deepand took hold of it with a Pair of Tongs round
the Neck of it, that the Tongs slipt & the Child fall into
the Soil again & was as Dept. believes as soon afterwards
taken out by a Nightman.
