To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of St Giles without Cripplegate London and also to
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of St Bridgett als Brides London

Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us whose
hands and Seals are hereunto Sett two of his Majty's Justices of
the peace for the City of London (Quorn Unus) by the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St.
Giles without Cripplegate London That Sarah Byfeild< no role > wife
of William Byfeild< no role > is
lately come into the
Said Parish endeavouring to Settle there contrary to Law and
unless timely prevented is likely to become chargeable
thereunto which We do adjudge to be true and forasmuch
as it appeareth unto us the said Justices upon the Oath of
the said Sarah Byfeild< no role > That her husband William Byfeild< no role > Served
the latter part of his apprenticeship about four years with one
Mr Bonner a Watch Engraver in the parish of St Bridgett als
Brides Londonand no other legal Settlement
elsewhere appearing unto us since We do also adjudge the
said parish of St Bridgett als Bridesto be the place of her last
legal Settlement

These are therefore in his Majesty's name to will & require
you the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said
Parish of St Giles without Cripplegate forthwith to remove and convey
the said Sarah Byfeild< no role >
from out of your said parish unto the said parish of St Bridgett
als Brides and her deliver unto the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor there Some or one of them who are
hereby required to receive and provide for her according to
Law. Given under our hands and Seals this 29th day of
JuneAnno Dm 1721
