The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Church Wardens and
Overseers of the poor of the Parish of St. Matew in Fryday
Street London

Sheweth

That by Virtue of our Order or pass Warrt. under the hands and
Seals of two of his Maties Justices of the Peace within the City
of London (Quor unus) bearing date the 5th. day of July inst. [..]
Susanna Bates< no role > was removed from the Parish of St. Benedict
vulgarly Bennet Fink London to the said Parish of St.
Mathew in Fryday Street London alledging the said parish
to be the place of her last legall Settlement

That Your Peticoners Conceive themselves agreived
by the said Warrt. and Judgemt. of the said two
Justices And Doe most humbly Appeal unto
Your Honr. & Worps. therefrom.

Your Peticoners therefore most
humbly pray Your Honr. & Worps.
will be pleased to hear them in the
Premisses and Order that the Church
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of St. Benedict
vulgarly Bennet Fink may Appear
before You & hear and abide the
Determinacon of the Court touching
the said Appeal.
