Genl. Quarter Sessions of the peace Assembled.

The humble Petition & Appeal of the Church Wardens &
Overseers of the poor of the parish of St Clements Danes
in the County of Middx.

Sheweth

That by Virtue of a Warrt under the hands & Seals of two of his Maties
Justices of the peace within the City of London (Quox unus) bearing Date
the Ninth day of January Instant Martha Tompkins< no role > was passed &
removed from the Parish of St Botolph witht Aldersgate London to the Sd Parish
of St Clements Danes in the County of Middx alledging the Said
parish to be the place of her last Legal Settlement

That your Petitioners conceive themselves aggrieved
by the said Warrant and Judgmen of ye Sd two Justices
and do most humbly Appeal to your Honr & Worps.
therefrom

Your Petitionrs therefore most
humbly pray your Honr & Worps will be
pleased to hear them in the premisses &
Order that the Churchwardens and
Overseers of ye poor of ye sd parish of St
Botolph without Aldersgate London
may appear before you and hear & abide
the determinacon of ye Court touching the
Said Appeal.

And they shall ever pray Etc.
