Middx Taylor upon her Informacon upon Oath taken before Me Joseph

< no role > Esqr : One of her Mtyes Justices of ye Peace for ye County of Midds Saith
That she this Informt. having been wth Elizabeth Whitmore< no role > her Sister
to be Sister wife of John Jenkins< no role > at her house in St: John's Court in [..] the
Parish of St. James Clerkenwell in ye sd County abt: ye End November or ye
begining of December last As he is her sd Sister being reang to come
away in ye Evening ye sd Mrs. Jenkins invited her & her sd [..] Sister to
dine wth her upon ye Sunday Senight then next following :& that she
the Informt: & her sd Sister did accordingly go & dine thereupon ye
sd Sunday & that after Dinner ye sd Mr. Jenkins askt this informt:
& her sd Sister of they wanted any Furbelow'd Scarves, & went wth:
them into a Chamber up Stairs sd their them severall Furbelow'd
Scarves, some of velvet & some of Silk & preferr'd them to sale &
desired them sd help her to Customers for thence And this Informt:
further Saith That abt: a work after She & her husband & her sd
Sister went again to ye sd Jenkins his house & ye sd Thomas pit her
husband then gave five Shillings to ye sd Mr. Jenkins in part of
Two Guineas wch were ye price agreed upon for one of ye sd Silk
furbelow'd Scarves & that in a short time after last Christmas he ye
sd Thomas Pit sent for ye sd John Jenkins< no role > to his then dwelling house
in Chick Lane in ye Parish of St: Sepulcher London & paid him
Shirts Eight Shillings more being in full for ye sd Scarfe That abt:
Three Months after ye paymt: of ye sd Thirty Eight Shillings She this
Informt: went to ye sd John Jenkins< no role > house & upon some discourse wth him
he told her that he would turn away A woman who has dwelt in his sd
house three Months or there abt: who went by ye Name of Jane (but this
Informt: Scarves not her Sir name) Saying Hang her A Jade She Stole all
these Scarves or words to that Effects & he ye sd Jenkins then also told this
Informt: That he was sap enough for that he know ye Sister of ye woman who
own'd all the Scorey And further this Informt: Saith That She hath often they
that when Stranger or Psons not well known have come into ye sd Jenkins house
either he or his sd wife would hide ye sd I am in a Washouse they have both
told this Informt: that they were Sorry they had bought ye sd Scarves became it
could fall heavy on them at last
