The humble Peticon & Appeale of the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the Poore of the Parish of St. Magnus the Martin London

Sheweth

That John Younger< no role > with his wife & child by virtue of a Warrant under
the hands & Seales of twoe of his Maties. Justices of the Peace within the
City of London (one being of the Quor) were brought by the Churchwardens
& Overseers of the Poore of the Parish of Alhallowes on the Wall unto yor.
Petrs. to be provided for on the Oath of the said John Younger< no role > that he was
last legally settled in the Parish of St. Magnus where he lived as an
Appntice with John Garland< no role > Tallow chandler whereas in truth the said John
Younger< no role > lived as an Appntice with one John Garland< no role > an Inhabitant in
the said Parish of Alhallowes about 5 yeares And then the said Garland removeing into the Parish of
St. Magnus the said John Younger< no role > was with him about a moneth And
then went for a Souldier And hath beene since releived by the Churchwardens
of Alhallowes as a Poore Inhabitant of their Parish

Yor.Petrs. therefore humbly pray yor. Honors. & Worpps.
to order the said Churchwardens of Alhallowes on the wall
to appear before you And to hear them all in the prmisses
And to Qush the said Warrant And send the said John
younger wth. his wife & child backe to the said Parish or
Alhallowes on the Wall To be pvided for & manteyned
untill they can the three themselves thereof by due course of
Lawe
