and Overseers of the Parish of St. James Garlickhithe

Sheweth

That by virtue of a Warrant under the hands and Seales of twoe of
his Maties. Justices of the peace within the City of London (Quor unus)
bearing date the 19th. dayes August 1699 One Mary Hodges< no role > was brought
to yor. Petrs. by the Churchwardens of St. Michaell Royall London To be
provided for on the Oath of the said Mary That her last legall settlemt.
was in the said parish of St. James Garlickhithe as an hired Servant
with one Henry Randall< no role > a Silke dyer thereby the space of one whole
yeare Whereas in truth the said Mary Hodges< no role > did not dwell as a servant
wth. the said Henry Randall< no role > for the space of one whole yeare in yor. Petr. Pish

Yor. Petr. therefore humbly pray yor. Honor. and Worpps.
to hear them in the prmisses and Order the said Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poore of St. Michaell Royall to
appear here before you And to send the said Mary Hodges< no role >
to the said Parish of St. Michaell Royall to be there kept and
provided for untill they can free themselves of the charge thereof
by due course of Lawe
