Justices of the Peace of the County of Middx.

The humble Petion & appeale of the Churchwardens & Overseers;
of the poore of the parish of Alhallowes' Lumberd Streete London

Sheweth

That by virtue of a Warrant under the hands & Seales of two of their
Maties. Justices of the peace wth. in the City one Anne Cheyney was sent
to yor. Petr. to be provided for upon her Oath That shee was brought
upp & mainteyned in & by the said Parish from her infanny and was
there last legally settled & never any where else where in tenth in the
yeare. 1693 the said Anne Cheney< no role > This name instance is in set 2961. was putt forth an Appntice by
the then Churchwardens of the said Parish to one Francis Chapman< no role >
of the Parish of St Gyles wth. out Cripplegate London & Mary< no role > his wife
for the terme of nine yeares wth. whorne thee served accordingly And
hath ever since the expiracon of the Indentured dwelt in the said
Parish of St. Gyles Cripplegate being her legall settlement.

Their humble suite unto yor. good Honors. & Worpps. is
to hear yor. Petr. in the Prmissed And to Quash the said
Order made by the said two Justices And to send the said
Anne Cheney< no role > This name instance is in set 2961. to the said Pish of St. Gyles Cripplegate
There to be provided for according to Lawe.
