The Information of John Fletcher< no role > Head borough
of Shadwell in the County of Middlesex Joseph West< no role >
[..] of the same placeof Saint Geo: Middlesex Stephen Reynolds< no role > Constable
ofEast West Ham in the County of Essex and Thos. Reynolds< no role >
Watchman of the same Place severally taken upon Oath
before me John Staples< no role > Esq. one of his Majestys Justices
of the Peace acting in and for the County of Middlesex

And first the said John Fletcher< no role > for himself Saith that having received
Information from a Woman who calls herself Elizabeth Johnson< no role > that coining
was carried on at a House kept by one George Dawson< no role > otherwise Collett situate in
Sun Tavern Fields in the Parish of Saint George Middlesex he this Informant in
Company with the said other Informants went to the said House on the tenth day of
August instant when the said Elizabeth Johnson< no role > Knock'd at the Door of the sd. House
but no Person coming to open the same this Informant and the said Stephen Reynolds< no role >
went through the next House where he got over the Fence after which he broke open the
Window of the suspected House and by that means Informant and said Reynolds
gam'd Admittance when they open'd the Street door and let in the other Informants.
after which they proceeded up Stairs And this Informant further Says tha as he
was going up Stairs he met the person now present who calls herself Deborah
Dawson
< no role > coming down Stairs as if from the Garrett and after the Informant
had taken her into the front Garrett.one pair of Stairs front Roomhe proceeded to search
her and as he was searching her right Hand Pocket he observ'd her drop on the
Floor two Counterfeit Six pences which he now produces and on searching her Right
hand Pocket he found two other Counterfeit Six pences which he likewise
produces thatInformant then went up Stairs into the frontin the said Garrett [..] he
found a Person who calls himself George Dawson< no role > in the Custody of the other
Informants who being very violent Informant Hand cuff'd him after which
Informant proceeded to search the said Garrett wherein he found a Charcoal Fire
lighted on which was placed a Crucible with part of a Spray and some base Metal therein
and also four pieces of Metal designed for Six Pences but defectively cast that
Informant also found in said Garrett then Pair of Flasks with the Frames, a
quantity of Metal which appears like Silver, some blank'd Copper, part of an
Old Metal Dish from whence the piece of Metal found in the Crucible appears to
have been art, four other Crucibles a Quantity of sand Paper, some facing,
Cork, Fyles, Plyers, Scales, & Weights Sand or Coome, and some Chareval,
That informant then went into the one pair of Stairs front Room in which was
a Bed, and on which Bed a Coat was laying which the Prisoner George
Dawson
< no role > say'd belonged to him, and as such took it away and Informant believes
it to be the same Coat in which he now appears, that on searching the Pockets
of the said Coat Informant found therein two Counterfeit Shillings and seven
Counterfeit Six pences all finished fit for Circulation which Informant now
produces, that Informant then examined the House and in the back Room
on the ground Floor he found laying in the Window loose two Counterfeit
