The Informations of David Lloyd< no role > and Sarah Warne< no role >
taken upon Oath the 7th. Day of August 1789

Who upon their several Oaths say and first the said
David Lloyd< no role > for himself saith that he is Servant to Mr. George
Lane
< no role > of Drury Lane PawnbrokerThat on Thursday the Sixth
Day of August Instant about nine oClock in the Evening the
Prisoner Mary Mitchell< no role > in Company with two young Men came to his Masters Shopunder
Pretence of buying a pair of Buckles and which she did buy
that one of the Men ran away & upon suspicion of his having
stolen the Gown now produced the said David Lloyd< no role > went
to the Shop Door and cryed out stop Thief but he escaped that
afterwards he went to several different Pawnbrokers Shops
to inquire if such Gown was brought to be pawned and
found the same was pawned at Mr. Dobree's in High
Holborn for half a Guinea to the Prisoner Mary Mitchell< no role >

Sarah Warne< no role > for herself saith that she lives Shop
Woman with Mr. John Dobree< no role > Pawnbroker in Holborn that
on Thursday the sixth Day of August Instant about nine
o Clock in the Evening the Prisoner Mary Mitchell< no role > came to
her Masters Shop and brought atheCotton Gown [..]
and which she said she purchased at Mr. Lane's for nineteen
Shillings Just then that she advanced the Prisoner Mary
Mitchell
< no role > half a Guinea upon the sd. Gown that soon
afterwards David Lloyd< no role > Mr. Lanes Servant came to
inquire if such Gown had been pawned there when she
produced the Gown to him and told him to was pawned
by the Prisoner Mary Mitchell< no role >
