by this Informant in his hand which he was going to give to
a Woman but she refused to take it. that Informant
brought him across the field when he endeavoured to get
away but Informant Seized hold of him and threw him
down at which time the said John Price< no role > let fall the said
Crown Piece and Informant Secured it.

The Information of Joseph Redfearn< no role > of the
Sherriffes Office Tooks Court Castle Yard Holborn taken
on Oath before me this 23rd. day of July 1789.

Who being on Oath says that on his Return to Town from
Finchley behind a Post Chaise Yesterday Evening in the Road between
Kentish town and Saint Pancras he heard an alarm of theives at
which times Sarah Atkinson< no role > and Mary Naylor< no role > now Present came
up to the Chaise and said they had been Robbed by two men who
[..] were gone across the Fields that this Informant got over
the bank and their saw the person now present who calls himself
William Poynton< no role > Standing at some distance from him with two or three, persons
round him That Informant asked who was the Thief and they pointed
out the said William Poynton< no role > to him whom this Informant took
hold of and carried him back to Kentish town and delivered him
into the Custody of the Constable
