Shillings and Six Counterfeit Six pences some finish'd and others not,
and also her Counterfeit Shillings not colour'd all which Informant now produces
that Informant also found in different parts of the said House a quantity of
good Half pence to the amount of twelve Shillings and upwards And this
Informant, Joseph West< no role > for himself Saith that he accompanyed the other
Informants to the said House and that on his entering the Garret of the same
he found the Prisoner George Dawson< no role > who was standing by the Fire with a
pair of Tongs in his hand and without a Shirt a Stocking son being only in
a Flannel Waiscoat that on Informants entering the Garrett said Dawson
after a striggle with one of the other Informants threw himself on his Knees
on the Floor where there was peaced a pair of Flasks which the Prisoner
disturb'd with his Hands after which the Informant saw a quantity of Earth
or Sand lay on the Floor which he believes came out of the Flask and
amongst this earth or sand, and on the Ground Informant foundSeventy
seven
Forty One Six pences some good and others Counterfeit and also some pieces of Metal
which appear to have been designed for Six pence but had been cut of all which
this Informant now produces And this Informant Stephen Reynolds< no role >
for himself Saith that he accompanyed the other Informants and as he was
proceeding up Stairs he met the Prisoner Deborah Dawson< no role > who asking him
what he wanted he told her he had a Warrant upon which she immediately
cry'd out several times "Jack" when the Prisoner George Dawson< no role > came out
of the Garret in the Dress above deposed to and with a Pair of Tongs in his
Hand with which he struck at the other Informant Thomas Reynolds< no role >
when he this Informant produced a Pistol to him and threatned to shoot
him if he attempted to strike again, that the Prisoner George Dawson< no role > then
returned into the Garrett shutting the Door after him, and on Informant
entering the same with the said Thomas Reynolds< no role > a Scuffle took place
between the said George Dawson< no role > and the said Thomas Reynolds< no role > , and
Dawson on getting disengaged immediately threw himself upon his Knees
on the Floor where Informant saw a Flask placed which the said Dawson
disturbed, and Informant then saw a quantity of earth on the Floor which
he beleives came out of the said Flasks, that after securing the Prisoner he
searched the Garrett, and in a Paper which was placed in the Window he
found Sixteen Counterfeit Sixpences some finished fit for Circulation and
others with the Aqua Fortis or burning Nike strong upon them, and in the same Window
Informant also found a leathern Bag containing 19 Counterfeit Six pences
most of which had been [..] yled at the Edges and coloured tho' not fit for
Circulation, and in the same Bag several pieces of Arsnick, all which
Informant now produces And this Informant Thomas Reynolds< no role >
for himself Saith That he accompanyed the said other Informant to
the said House when on the said Deborah Dawson< no role > calling out "Jack"
