The Information of Ann Brenan< no role > Ann Hales< no role > Thomas Murphy< no role > and
Wilham Higgins< no role > Taken this 15th. day of January 1787 before us two of his
Majestys Justices of the peace in and for the said County

Ann< no role > the Wife of Kinds Brenan< no role > on her Oath says Five Muslin
Caps Four Muslin Handkerchiefs One Child Tippet and One Linnen
pin Cloth of the Value of Five Shillings now produced are her said
Husband property and were safe Yesterday afternoon in the Kitchen of her
said husband house situate as aforesaid

Ann Hales< no role > on her Oath says she lives Servant with the [..] said James
Brenan
< no role > and that Yesterday in the Afternoon she saw the present who says [..] is [..] coming down the Kitchen
Jeremiah Ryan< no role > Stairs which Kitchen is up Stairs a Story higher then the Tap Room
where the said Thomas Murphy< no role > Jeremiah Ryan< no role > had been drinking She suspecting him went
up the said Stairs she found an Apron of her own on the said Stair head which Apron
she had lately left in the said Kitchen Says she came down Stairs and told her
said Master that she believed he had been robbed and that the man was gone backward
That [..] she saw Thomas Murphy< no role > pursue the said Jeremiah Ryan< no role > under Shore

Thomas Murphy< no role > at No. 1 Goldhill Shadwell Labourer on his oath says Yesterday
afternoon he was at the house of the said James Brenan< no role > and saw the said Jeremiah
Ryan
< no role > have Two pints of Beer in the Tap Room and after drinking the same she said
Jeremiah went out [mark] said Room and in a few Minutes after he this Informant
went to go backwards where he saw the said Jeremiah at the Back door on the side of the
Thameswho he saw turn back saying that would not do, and heard the said Ann Hales< no role >
as to the said Jeremiah what business he had there who bid her ask his Backside
says hearing said Ann tell her Master she suspected he had been robbed he went
to look for said Jeremiah who he saw go down the Back Stairs undershore and suspecting
he went towards Cole Stairs Says he went Round to Cole Stairs and met him at the
Corner of the Passage when Mr Brenan came up they seized him he pretending to
be drunk and brought him back when he heard the said Jeremiah own to his
having taken the said Articles and having thrown them down the Vault where he this
Informant saw them

Articles abovementioned from under the Neccessay of the said James Yesterday afternoon
