The Information of Elizabeth Stevens< no role > of Black
Horse Yard East Smithfield Spinster Taken
this twenty seventh day of January 1787 who
being on her Oath Saith that about six O Clock this
Morning the person present who says his name is George
Andrews
< no role > came to her Room situate as aforesaid And
gave Informant some Liquor out of a Quart Bottle
which she believes was pepper mint and then went out
And Informant went to Sleep until Nine o Cloak who
she got up and Saw the two Casks and Basket produced
in her said Room and that about half after nine the
said George Andrews< no role > Came to had said Room when Informant
Asked him how he came by the same when he answered
he got them from on board the Polly lying at Iron Gate
is Positive there was on Casks Liquor or Basket
in her said Room about One O Clock this Morning when
she went to Bed
