them, Informant then desired them to keep behind him, and also Harwood
to stay by the Wall of Saint James's Church whilst he went home for the
two Guineas, that Harwood and the other Man followed him to his own
Door and walked past whilst Informant went in for the two Guineas, that
Informant immediately came out and gave said Harwood two Guineas
in the Street near his own Door, that said Harwood asked when he should
call again for more, when Informant replied you need not call again
for you have got enough, that Harwood insisted upon having more
Money, Informant then desired him to meet him on the Next Monday Evening
at 8 o' Clock at the Green Park Gate in Saint James's Palace and he would
give him another Guinea, when Harwood desired him to keep his
appointment otherwise he would call at his House again, Informant
then went and consulted his friends what to do on the Occasion, and
went on said Monday at 8 o' Clock to Saint James's Park at the place
appointed, that about ½ past 8 o'Clock said Harwood came when Informant
asked him how he could use him so ill by his false Acquisation and
exterting Money from him when Murrant took him in Custody who
was waiting there for that purpose. And the said Thomas Vennell< no role >
says that he remembers said Harwood and another person coming to
his Masters House with two Drafts that his Master gave them one
Shilling each, that on Sunday last Harwood came to his Masters House
and asked if Mr. Drummond was at home Informant told to him no, he
then desired Informant to take a Letter to his Master's Brother as he
wanted Money and was sure he give him same, Informant replied he had
no Brother but an Uncle, Harwood that went away and returned in the
evening when Informant told him his Master was not come in

And the said John Willett< no role > says he remembers said Harwood coming
with another Person to Lord Sempill's House and produced two drafts and said he had found
them Informant replied they of no use to any person, that Informant
then went with them to Mr. Drummonds who shewed them the book to provethey
that said Drafts had been paid, and gave said Harwood and the other person one Shilling
each for their trouble.
