of his Majesty's Justices of the peace in and
for the said County of Middlesex
the 31st. day of
August 1781
This Informanton his
Richard Barfoot< no role >
saith that he
is a Wine Merchant and lives in Norton Falgate
in the said
County and that this Morning there was feloniously stolen
out of his House in Norton Falgate
aforesaid which is now
repairing about fifty six Pounds of Lead this Informants
property. And this Informant John Cundell< no role >
saith that he
is servant to the said Richard Barfoot< no role >
and that between
the Hours of seven and eight o'Clock this Morning he saw
John Welch< no role >
who was employed as a Bricklayers Labourer
in the repair of the said House come through his said
Masters shop where this Informant was, with a Basket
on his Shoulder covered with Showings and went with
the same up Shoreditch
. And this Informant Charles
welch< no role >
saith that he [..] po [..] a Public House in Shoreditch
in the said County. That this Morning between the Hours
of seven and eight o'Clock as this Informant was standing at
his own Door he saw the said John Welch< no role >
coming up
Shoreditch
with a Basket on his Shoulder covered on the
top with Showings. That the said John Welch< no role >
nearly opposite
this Informants House took the said Baskett of this
Shoulder and rested it upon a Post, ad took some shaving
out of the Basket which he threw on the Ground. That he
then took up the Basket again in which this Informant
