for the said County
Who severally being upon Oath say And first
this Informant William Gibbs< no role >
for himself
saith that he is Headboro: for the Parish of Saint
Giles & that he had Informt. of a person now
present who calls himself Wm. Addington having
been concerned as an Accomplice in Robbing
One Michl Bray< no role >
of his Coat Waistcoat and
Breeches & twelve Guineas in Gold this Informt
made an Outery of Stop Thief & the other Informt
John Partridge< no role >
laid hold of him at the Top of Newtoner
Street St Giles. & when he was taken this Informt
was about forty Yards distance & saw him fire a
Pistol but as whom he cannot tell
And this Informant John Mackerall for himself
saith that in Newtoners Street he heard an Outery
of Stop Thief & saw the or Informant John

Seize hold of the person now present
who calls himself Wm. Addington this Informt
went up to the assistance of the said Jno. Partridge< no role >
& the said Wm. Addington drew A Pistol out of his
Breast & fired the pistol now produced Immediately at this Informt
which providentially missed him
And this Informant John Partridge< no role >
for himself
saith that this afternoon he heard an Outery
of Stop thief in Newtoners Stt. St. Giles
and this
Informant Seized hold of a person now present
who calls himself Wm. Addington this Informant
heard the sd. Addington declare that he would
Shoot or he the Death of the first Man that
came up to him & says that the other Informt
John Mackerall & Chas. Ward came up to this
Informt. Assistance the sd. Wm. Addington directly
Fired his Pistol at the said John Mackerell< no role >
