the said James Dempsey< no role > and this Informant robbed a Man on Foot on the same Road of
Eighteen pence in Money a Pair of Silver Knee Buckles now produced a Pair of Silver
Shoe Buckles a Came and a Pocket Handkerchief Says that the said Knee Buckles
were sold by the said Dempsey to Mr Masters Pawnbroker in Holborn for three Shillings
Says that the said Shoe Buckles were sold by the said Dempsey to a Salesman who
lives at the Corner of Drury Lane in Holborn and that she Came and Handkerchief
the said Dempsey hadSays that the same Evening on the same Road the said James
Dempsey
< no role > and this Informant robbed a Coachman on his Box (there being no Passengers)
of Sixteen Shillings and Six pence and a Pair of Silver Shoe Buckles now produced Says
that he this Informant sold the said Shoe Buckles to Mr Dobree Pawnbroker in Holborn
for Eleven ShillingsSays that on Saturday last was three Weeks the said John Devine< no role >
and this Informant robbed a Carpenter in the same Road of Four Guineas in Gold and
some SilverSays that the night before the said John Devine< no role > and this Informant
robbed an Ironmonger who lives at No 18 Newgate Street in the Fields between White Conduit House and Hollaway of Eighteen pence in Silver a
Metal Watch with a Gold Dial plate and a black Leather Pocket Book Says the said
Metal Watch was Sold by the said John Devine< no role > and this Informant to the said John
Lyon
< no role > for One Guinea at the same time that the aforesaid Gold Watch was sold, Says
the said Pocket Book was sent by the Penny Post to the owner in Newgate Street
aforesaid Says that two nights before the last mentioned Robbery the said John Devine< no role >
and this Informant robbed a Foreigner on Foot on the aforesaid Back Road of one Guinea Ten
Shillings & Six pence in Silver and twelve penny worth of Half penceSays that about
[..] nights before the last mentioned Robbery the said Thomas Raffety and this Informant
robbed a Foreigner on the same Road of a Guinea a half Guinea and a French
Crown a Pair of Silver Shoe Buckles and Knee BucklesSays that the said French
Crown was pawned by a Girl who lives with said Raffety for four Shillings and
that the said Shoe and Knee Buckles the said Thomas Raffety hadSays that the
same night the said Thomas Raffety and this Informant robbed a Gentleman
on Foot between Islington and Newington of a Watch with a Gold Box now
produced by Mr Allen Pawnbroker, a half Moidore and Eighteen pence in Silver
Says the said Watch was offered to Pawn to the said Mr Allen by the said
Thomas RaffetySays about three nights before the last mentioned Robbery
on a Saturday night the said John Devine< no role > and this Informant robbed a Gentleman
[..] Fields between White Conduit House and Hollaway of Silver Watch was
produced and some Silver Says he this Informant on Monday last was [..]
-night sent this Wife to Pawn the said Watch at Mr. Halls Pawnbroker in Saint Martins
Lane with which she was Stopt.
