Robert Jones< no role > the Defendant in the above Cause maketh
Oath and Saith that he this Deponent did apply to Mc. Coplard< no role >
Attorney at Law in Grange Court, who came to this
Deponent at the time of his Examination at the
Rotation office in Litchfield Street before Mr Justice Welch
and that the said Mr Coplard did also Attend this Deponent
yesterday in Newgate , and promised this Deponent to
prepare him an affidavit in order to put of his
Trial for a Shirt him to give the Deponent an
Opportunity to prepare himself for his Defence in the
above Cause, but that the said At Coplard has Disappointd
him, for what reasons he knows not, and this Deponent
further saith that the said Mr Coplard promisd to prapar
this Deponents Brig in the said Cause and thatthis Depnt
withhe Engaged to provide a proper Counsel on his behalf
