The Minutes of the last Court were read and confirmed
The Minutes of the House Committee of the 3rd. April were read from which it
appears the Committee had transacted the following Business.

Governors of these Hospitals
who being several put up were at this Court
unanimously elected Governors.
They had considered and endeavoured to remove the complaint of the Tenant of the
Acorn Ale House in Water Street Bridewell Precinct that the Pipes belonging to the
New River Company were constantly piled up against his House and
otherwise incommoded him.
And the Committee for general purposas having recommended the Governors of Bridewell
Hospital to make application to the Commissioners of Sewers respecting the defective
state of the Arch over the great Sewer in New Bridge Street the Committee had desired
Mr. Treasurer to lay copies of the several proceedings in that Business before the
Commissioners of Sewers and endeavor to obtain their compliance with the request of the
Memorialists.
The Committee had resolved that Mrs. Crosby be requested to accept the use of the Coach
House and Stables late in the occupation of the Right Worshipful
