The Minutes of the last Court were read and confirmed
The Minutes of the House Committee of the 1st. May were read whereby it
appeared that the Committee recommend Mr. William Hopkins< no role >
to be a Governor
of these
Hospitals and at this Court he was unanimously Elected.
That the Committee having considered a resolution from the Commissioners of Sewers proposing
a conference with a Committee of the Governors respecting the state of the Arch over the
Sewer in New Bridge Street also to liquidate the claim of the Commisioners of Sewers
on the Governors for the expence of cleansing and lighting that part of New Bridge
Street
which lies belived the Corner of Bride Lane
and the South end of the Chapel
They had resolved that it be referred to Mr. Treasurer
Mr. Waddington Mr. Read Mr.
Bushnan and Mr. Shawe to confer with the Commisioners of Sewers at such time and place
