Thursday 23d. March 1737

of equal heighth with the Houses adjoyning towards Water street and not
to make any Doorway into Waterstreet, but the Doorway into the
Warehouses to be made from Edward streetAnd that a Lease of one
other third part of the said Ground and Houses may be granted to the
said John Hewlett< no role > at £13.10P Ann and another Lease of the other third
part to the said John Smither< no role > at £13.10P Ann and that they may
not respectively be oblidged to build more then six Houses on each of the
said one third parts of the said Ground And for such Alteration they
propose to add £10.10to the Fine which will make the same in
the whole £160.10whereof each of them to pay one thirdThis
Committee are of Opinion to accept of the said ProposalsAll which
nevertheless is Submitted to the Judgment of the CourtAnd it is
Ordered that this Opinion be reported to the next CourtThis Court
having duly Weighed and Considered the said Report doth Confirm
the same.

Upon reading a Report from the Comittee of Bridewell Hospital bearing
date the 3th. of March last under the hands of Robert Bishop< no role > Esqr . Trear ,
Mr. Mark Holman< no role > , Mr. Edward Holloway< no role > , Mr. William Brent< no role > , Mr. Deputy
Mingay & Mr. James Bartlell< no role > in the words and figures following Elizt.
Messrs. Daniel and Lewis Weston< no role > and John Pike< no role > who aboutApril
1735 agreed for a Lease of Ground and Houses (No. 2) in Wapping, prayed
this Committee to alter that Agreement and great a Lease of the Houses
and Ground on the last part of the said Houses and Ground to the said
Daniel and Lewis Weston< no role > , and another Lease of the Houses and Ground on
the West part thereof to the said John Pike< no role > and the Rent and Fine to
be divided into MoietysThe Comittee are of Opinion to grant the same
All which nevertheless is submitted to the Judgment of the Court
And it is Ordered that this Opinion be reported to the next Court
This Court having duly weighed & considered the said Report doth
Confirm the same.

Upon reading a Report from the Committee of Bridewell Hospital bearing
date the 22d. of February last under the hands of Robert Bishop< no role > Esqr .
T [..] Mr. William Brett< no role > & Deputy [..] Mr. Deputy Ballard and Mr. James Bartlett< no role >
in the words and figures following Vizt.This Comittee being
informed by the Clerk that a Farm and Lands in the Manner of
Hartshanger alias Barfriston in the parish of Barton in the County
of Kent part of the possessions of the Hospital of Bethlem in the
Occupation of Nathaniel Allen< no role > are charged with the Payment of a
Cadleguard Rent of £1.1.1½ P Ann to Mrs.Hawley and that
she is willing to sell the same to the Governors at thirty years
purchaseThis Comittee are of Opinion that it will be for the
benefit of the said Hospital to purchase in the said Rent at thirty
years purchaseAll which nevertheless is Submitted to the Judgment
of the CourtAnd it is Ordered that this Opinion be reported to the
next CourtThis Court having duly weighted and considered the said
Report doth Confirm the same.
