Mr. Treasurer Taylor acquainted this Court that

who was bound Apprentice

afterwards turned over to
Benjamin Thatcher< no role >
had attended
the Comee of this House and informed them that about Xmas
1713. His Fingers being Sore of the Evill So that he was
not capable of working at his Trade) he went to Sea with ye
consent of his Said Master Thatcher and put himselfe Servt.
to Mr.

of the Ship Lancaster and about
Six Months afterwards was turned over to the Feversham
which being Lately paid off he was discharged and his fingers
being very well he pray'd that he might be Serve out the remr.
of his time with his Said Master which the Comee Ordered And
his said Master desired that he might have the Indenture of
Apprenticeship to receive the wages due for the said Urquarts
Service at Sea but it appearing to the Comittee that the said
Urquarts Mother had Fitted him out to Sea and that the Mar.
had been at no Charge therein and that the apprentice had
been but a Short time with the Said Thatcher therefore ye
Comee did not think fitt to make any order therein but
Submitted it to the Judgmt. of ye Court Whereupon the sd

was Sent For into Court and he agreeing
to bring what money he Shall recover upon that account before
the Comee of this House to be disposed of as they Shall
directIt is Ordered That an Indorsement be
made upon the said William Urquarts Indenture of
apprenticeship of his being turned over to the said Thatcher
and that the said Indenture be delivered to the said Thatcher
for the purpose aforesaid
