they had Strict Orders not to Suffer any of the apprentices to
go out that night and tho' the said Bowes with the rest of the
Artsmasters had been called into Court that day and acquainted
with the Order then made for preventing the apprentices from
goeing out that night which order was also affixed upon the
hospital Gate yet the said Bowes in def [..] of the said
Orders turned the Key of the Gate himselfe and lett his said
apprentice out and told the Beadles (who said they would
Complain to ye Court) that [..] answer any complaint And Bowes being called in saw that
Harrison haveing but Six Weekes to Serve of his apprenticeship
he permitted him to Lodge and work out of the house for his
Improvement in his Trade and therefore Let him out at the Gate
to go home to his Lodgings (It is Ordered That
it be referred to the Comee of this house and Paul Jodrel< no role >
Esqr . Joseph Major< no role > Esqr Francis Annesley< no role > Esqr . Edward
Jennings
< no role > Esqr Francis Hayes< no role > Esqr & Wm [..] Esqr or any three of them to consider of the said
Complaint and to Report their Opinion to this Court what
is fitt to be done therein and ye sd Comee are likewise desired
to Consider and to Report their Opinion what is proper
to be done in relation to John Boulter< no role > and John Bennett< no role >
agt. whom [..] ments have been brought to turne them
out of the possion of their respective appartments in this
hospital and for these pursposes the said Comee are desired
to Inspect the Charter and Books of this hospital
