to be Governours of these Hospitals Vizt.

It is Ordered That the Consideration thereof be referred to the
Comee of this House who are desired to Report their Opinion
therein to this Court

This Court being of Opinion that the Number of Governours
of these Hospitals is to great Doth Order That no more
Governours be nominated in Six Months

of ye Hospital on ye. 28. & 29th.

The Artsmasters of this Hospital being called before
the Court Mr. president told 'em that not withstanding the frequent
admointions of the Court to them to keep their Apprentices
at home on Holy days to prevent their Comitting disorders yet
there had Lately been Reflections in the printed papers upon
the apprentices in this Hospital For comitting Riotts in the Street
and that Such disorders if not timely prevented might prove destemtice
to the Charity belonging to this Hospital and Mr. president directed
that the Order of Court of the 4th of Novemr. Last relating to the
Artsmasters keeping their Apprentices at work on Holydays
Should be read and the Same was read accordingly And then Mr
president gave a Strict Charge to the Arts Masters to keep their Apprtices
to work on all Holydays and particularly the 28th. and 29th days of
this instant May and not to Suffer any of their Apprentices to
go out of their Houses which the Artsmasters promised to observe
Then the Beadles and Portersman were called in & reced ye like Orders
And then the Apprentices were all called before ye Court And Mr. president told
'em of ye Complaints that were made of their disorders in the Streets on Holydays and
admonished & Ordered them to keep within their respective Masters appartmts. on ye
sd. 28th. & 29th days of May & not one of em to appear out ye Hospital That they wou'd be watched
& if they Shou'd appear in the Streets on either of those days they would not only en danger
their own Lives but also ye overthrowing ye Noble Charity of this Hospital which they had been
partakers of alreadyof already& wou'd be so in a greater measure if they behaved themselves
well and the apprentices all promised ye Court to obey ye sd. Orders punctually
