Samuel Ellis< no role > Apprentice to Gabriel Bestman< no role > was brought up
to Court from the Hempblocks where he was Sent yesterday by
Order of ye Comee of this House for Spoiling His Work giveing
Sawry Langwage to his Master and keeping Late hours & being uncharged Curham to his Endeavouring And
he haveing Little to Say for himselfe It is Ordered
that ye said Samuel Ellis< no role > be Continued at the Hempblocks till
further Order

Upon reading a proposeal Signed by William Ridley< no role > in old
Gravel Lane in Wapping Baker whereby he offered to take
a Lease of Seven Houses and a Warehouse on the West
Side of old Gravel Lane (which were part of the premisses
formerly held by one Dorothy Haddock< no role > under a Lease from
the Governours of this Hospital which expired at Lady
day Last) for the Terme of forty five years to Comence from
Lady day Last and to give a fine of One Hundred and thirty
pounds and pay Ten pounds P Anum Rent & to build two new Houses the front and rear
Walls Brick within Seven years from the date of his Lease &
to be worth One Hundred pounds It is Ordered that
the Consideration of the Said proposal be Referred to the
Comee of this House who are desired to Report their
Opinion to this Court what they think proper to be dow
therein.

put out Apprentices at the nomination of the Governours
hereafter named Vizt
