Lycence to Assign his Lease
in Bridewell Precinct to
ye New River Company}


Humphr'y Ambler< no role > geid who holds a Wharfe and four Brick Messuages
in Bridewell Precinct at the Yearly Rent of One Hundred pounds
under a Lease to him from ye Governors of this Hospital (dated the
23d. day of December 1714. which will Expire at Michas 1751)
Applyed to this Court desireing leave to Assign the said Lease to the
Governor. and Company of the New River Water for the Remainder of
the Term to come in the said Lease (Except the last halfe year
Whereupon It is Ordered That the said Humphry Ambler< no role > have the
Lycence of this Court to Assign his Said Lease to the said Governor and
Company of the New River Water

to be acknowledged on ye. 2

Mr. Treasurer Tayler acquainted this Court that in persuance of
an Order of the Last Court Mr. William Dixon< no role > (Agent for Mrs. Mary
Mount Rohit and Execurtix of Mr. Jeremy Mount< no role > deced late Clerke of these
Hospitals) had transferred to him the Six Hundred pounds Stock in the sd
Order menconed for the use of these Hospitals and in full of all accounts
and demands which the Governours of these Hospitals have against the
Said Mary Mount< no role > as Executrix to her Said late Husband and that
Mr. Dixon desired this Court will please to direct Mr.
Marriott Formerly Agent for the [..] Governors of these Hospitals
to acknowledge Satisfaccon upon Record of two Judgements Recovered
in the Court of Excheqr. in Michas Terme 1703at the Suit of the
Mayor Comonalty and Citizens of the City of London Governors of the
Revenues Possessions and Goods of the Hospitals of Edward the Sixth
Late King of England Christ, Bridewell , and St Thomas the apostle
the One agt the said [..] Mary Mount< no role > and the other agt
Stephen Cook< no role > who was Security for the said Jeremy Mount< no role >
Whereupon It is Ordered That the Said Mr.
Marriott do at ye Costs of the said Mrs. Mount acknowledge
Satisfaccon on the Record of the said two respective Judgemts.
