the Churchwardens & Overseers for the poor of St
Christophers especially as a Vagrant & brought into their
parish of Labour by a Person not yet apprehended
& esteemed a Lewd woman & not giveing any good
account of herselfe & being married

Upon Reading the Several humble Petitions of Walter
Acton
< no role > Benjamin Hoffman< no role > and Thomas Humphreys< no role > for one of
them to be Steward of Bridewell hospital in ye room of Thomas
Bayly
< no role > deced and they being all put in nomination Alphabetically
for one of them to be Elected the said Walter Acton was
unanimously Chosen And this Court doth thereupon
Order that ye said Walter acton (giveing Security as usual)
be admitted Steward of this hospital untill the next Election
day And that he shall have receive and enjoy the Salary
and Profitts thereunto belonging As the said Thomas Bayly< no role >
had & Enjoyed the same And also the Rooms and Chambers
wherein the said Mr Bayly Lived
