Examination TextAnn Miller aged 40 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish St Martin in the Fields passed as a vagrant from the Parish of Ealing in the County of Middlesex upon her oath saith that she is the wife of Edward Miller (gone from her) to whom she was married at Drayton in the County of Stafford the eighth day of September which was in the year 1752, that he never was bound an apprentice kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together, that his Father Robert Miller was a Pattern Drawer a by trade and lived in and rented an house in Half Moon Street in the Parish St Martin in the Fields aforesaid as her said husband hath informed this Examinant, but what rent he paid for the same or how long he rented it she cannot tell, that she hath heard that he died in the occupation thereof, that she hath two children living by her said husband to wit James Edward aged four years and upwards now with her husband and Mary aged one year and upwards now with this Examinant. Sworn the third Day of September 1756 before Benjamin Cox.
