Examination Text | Mary Foley aged 45 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she never was married bound an apprentice kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year nor paid any parish taxes, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mr Potier in that part of the Haymarket which is in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid the space of 15 months at the yearly wages of 5 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about 12 years ago, that she hath not been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Sworn the 24th Day of August 1756 before Benjamin Cox. |
