The Examination of Eliz< no role > : the Wife of Robt. Williams< no role >
lodging in the Parish of St. Clemt. Danes in the County of
Middx taken the 25th. Day of Octr. 1740 Who upon her
Oath Saith that abt. twelve Years since she Intermarryed
with the above named Robt. Williams< no role > & that he the sd.
Robert before his Intermarriage with this Exaiant & while
he was a Single Man lived a yearly hired Servt . with Mr.
Castle at the White Hart Tavern the Corner of Warwick
Court in the Parish of St. Andrew Holbourn above Barrs
in the County of Middx for the Space of two Years or
thereabts. as this Exaiants sd. Husband Inform'd her & as
she verily beleives & further Saith that her sd. Husband
hath not since that time rented any House pd. Parish Taxes
lived with any other Person as a yearly hired Servt. for the
Space of one Year or otherwise gained a Settlemt. in any
other Place to her knowledge or beleif that her sd. Husband
is now a Lunatick & she being Poor is not able to maintain
him and herself.
