The Examination of John Curtis< no role > lodging in the
Parish of St. Clemt. Danes in the County of Middx
taken the seventeenth Day of Octr. 1740 who upon his
Oath saith that he was bound Apprentice to and service
seven Years Apprenticeship with his Brother Nathanl
Curtis
< no role > in Baldwins Gardens in the Parish of St.
Andrew Holborn above Barrs in the sd. County of
Middx Plaisterer and hath been out of his Time abt.
Eighteen Years and further Saith that he never rented
a House lived with any Person as a yearly hired
Servant for the space of one Year or otherwise gained
a Settlement in any other Place to his Knowledge
or Beleif that he has a Wife and one Child (to wit)

is not able to maintain them
