The Examination of Sarah Bright< no role > Widow aged fifty Years &
upwards living in the Parish of St. Clemt. Danes in ye. County
of Middx taken ye. 2d. Day of Decr. 1740 who upon her Oath
saith yt. about nine Years ago (being at that time a Widow & not
having any Child or Children) She lived a Yearly hired Servt.
with one Mr. John Tod< no role > in Kings Head Court in Drury Lane
in the sd. Parish of St. Clemt. Danes for the Space of two Years
& a half at ye. Yearly Wages of five Pounds & further saith yt.
she hath not since she Came away from her sd. Service Rented ten
Pounds a Year pd. Parish Taxes lived with any other Person as
a Yearly hired Servt. for the Space of one Year or otherwise gained
a Settlemt. in any other Place to her knowledge or beleife & that
she is Sick & poor & not able to maintaine herself
