The Exaicon of Eleanor< no role > the wife of Stephen Jenkins< no role > lodging
in the parish of St. Clemt. Danes in the County of Middx taken the
first day of Octr. 1740 Who upon her Oath Saith that on the
27th. day of May in the Year 1733 She intermarryed with the
abovenamed Stephen Jenkins< no role > and that her sd. Husband Rented
a House in the Back Roade in the parish of St. Mary Islington in the sd.
County of Middx of the yearly Rent of Ten pounds and lived in ye
same One yeare & upwards and hath been come away abt. three years
And further Saith that her sd. Husband hath not since he left
the sd. House Rented any other House of Ten pounds a yeare paid parish Taxes
or otherwise gained a Settlemt. many other Place to her knowledge
or beleife that her sd. Husband Inlisted himselfe in Sr. Robt.
Riches Regimt. of Horse but where he now is this Exaiant
cannot tell, and having one Child (to wit) John< no role > Aged abt. two
years is poor & not able to maintaine the same
