contract from Such Artificer or Artificers (who will undertake
to do the work) for the building the said Bridge with brick and
stone according to the plan aforesaid and with such other
materials as shall be proper to be used in & about the building
of the same And for finding good & substantial bricks, Stone,
and other materials for the building the said Bridge at such
price as the said Committee or any Seven of them shall
think reasonable in that behalf, which work is to be performed
under the direction of the Said Mr. Labelye.

Report concerning the
Demands of Several
Petty Constables in this
County for the Passing
& releiving of Vagrants
and what money is
due to them}

In Obedience to the Order hereunto annexed wee whose hands
are hereunto Sett three of his Majesties Justices of the peace of the
said County of Middx appointed by the Order (being a Quorum)
mentioned in the said Order to peruse and inspect the Certificates
of the late Constables of the severall parishes and places in
this County upon the Certificates of allowances made them for
their trouble and expence in the passing and releiving of
Vagrants Did Cause publick notice to be given in severall
publick news papers for all persons who had any Claim and
demand on the County of Middx to attend us on Thursday the
eighth day of May instant to make out their Demands and that
Divers persons did appear as followeth Vizt. Daniel Mackfun< no role >
Petty Constable of the parish of Kensington praying to be allowed
the Sume of seven pounds eleven shillings and seven pence
Robert Pilkington< no role > Petty Constable of the same parish the Sume of
two pounds twelve Shillings and seven pence James Jugall
Petty Constable of the Same parish of the Sum of four pounds one
Shilling and nine pence half penny Robert Chester< no role > petty Constable of
the same parish the Sume of Sixteen Shillings and four pence
John Clarke< no role > petty Constable of the same Parish the Sume of Eleven
pounds fourteen Shillings and one penny Henry Boulton< no role > Petty
Constable of the same Parish the Sume of one pound fourteen
Shillings Elias Hirons< no role > petty Constable of the same parish the Sume
of twelve Shillings But your said Committee observes in the Certificates
of allowances the Justices of the peace have madeandan
allowance of twelve pence P Mile whereas it appears to your
said Committee That Lyan order of the Court of the General
Quarter Sessions of the peace held at Hicks Hall in St. John Street
the third day of May in the ninth year of the Reign of our
Sovereign Lord King George the second that the said Justices
should have allowed to the said Constables but Six Pence P Mile
And that it is our opinions that Six pence P Mile and no more
ought to be allowed which reduces the said Daniel Mackfuns< no role >
Demand from the Sume of Seven pounds eleven Shillings
