To the Right Honourable Richard Clark< no role >
Esqr . Lord Mayor of the City of London
and the Worshipful the Aldermen his
Majesty's Justices of the Peace For the same
City, at their General Quarter Session of
the Peace assembled.

The Humble Petition of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of Saint Andrew
by the Wardrobe, London.

Sheweth That by Virtue of an Order or Pass
Warrant under the Hands and Seals of two of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace For the said City, one whereof being
of the Quorum bearing Date the Eleventh Day of
January last past, Mary Lane< no role > an Infant aged four Years the Daughter of Jonathan Lane< no role > by Sarah< no role > his Wife
was removed From the Parish of Saint Ann in Black
Friars , London, to the said Parish of Saint Andrew by
the Wardrobe, as the Place of her last legal Settlement
whereby your Petitioners conceive themselves to be
aggrieved and appeal against the same.

Your Petitioners therefore most
humbly Pray that this Honourable
Court will take their Case into
Consideration, and adjourn the
Hearing and Determination of
the said Appeal, untill the
next General Session of the Peace
to be holden For the said City.

And your Petitioners will ever Pray Etc.
