on Oath the sixteenth day of February 1785
before me one of his Majestys Justices of the
Peace for the County of Middlesex
Who on her Oath Saith that on Thursday the Tenth day of
February instant as she was coming along Bishopsgate street
with a Box in her hand [..] about six O'Clock in the
Evening sheofwas accosted by John Brett< no role >
the Prisoner
now under Examination who asked her what it i [..] s a
Clock to which this Informant made Answer she did
not know upon which the said John Brett< no role >
asked leave
of this Informant to carry her box for her which she refused andaccord [..]
accordingly he took hold of one end of her Box, presently
afterwards another man came into Company and
pushed this Informant of the Pavement Stones into the
Carraige way, And that the said John Brett< no role >
now under
Examination then ran away with her box containing
one Cotton Gown and other things the property of this
informant
