To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of St. Dunstan in the West
London, and the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Chobham in
the County of Surry respectively.

WHEREAS Complaint hath this Day been made
unto us two HisMajesty's Justices of the
Peace for this City, and the Liberties thereof (Quorum
unus) by You the Churchwardens andOverseers of
the Poor of the Parish of St Dunstan in the West
London, That Eleanor Ball< no role > the wife of Samuel Ball< no role >
with their Six Children Vizt. William< no role > aged fourteen years
Robert< no role > aged Twelve years, Charles< no role > aged Eight years, Judith< no role >
aged Six Years, Sarah< no role > aged Three years and John< no role > Six Months old or
thereabouts are lately come into and are now resident in
your said Parish of St. Dunstan not having obtained any
legal Settlement there, and are likely to become charge-
able thereto by reason of their Poverty & Prisonment
of the said Samuel Ballunless timely prevented,
which Complaint we adjudge to be true. And forasmuch
as it appears unto us by the Oath ofthe said Samuel Ball
that by the Space of Four Months or thereabouts next
imediately before the death of King Charles the Second and for
Severall Months afterwards he the said Samuel Ball was
a Lodger in the house of Mr. Nathaniel Cox< no role > his Father in Law in
the Parish of Chobham in the County of Surry And that he by
any meanes whatsoever hath
not obtaind any subsequent Settlement. We the said Ju-
stices are therefore of Opinion, and do adjudge the last
legal Settlement of the said Eleanor Ball and her said
six Childrento be in the said
Parish of Chobham in the said County of Surryand
that thitherto they ought by Law to be sent.

THESE are therefore in His Majesty's Name to re-
quire You to remove and convey the said Eleanor Ball
and her said Six Children
from and out of your said Parish of St. Dunstant in the
West London, to the said Parish of Chobham in the
said County and them leave with the Churchwardens &
Overseers of the Poor there, or one of them, who is and
are hereby required to receive and provide for them
according to Law. Hereof fail not, and this shall be your
Warrant. Given under our Hands and Seals the 23d.
