Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us whose
hands and Seals are hereunto Sett two of his Majties Justices of
the peace for the City of London (Quorm Unus) by the
Churchwarden and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
St Andrew Holborn

nineteen months arelately come into the
Said Parish endeavouring to Settle there contrary to Law and
unless timely prevented are likely to become chargeable
thereunto which We do adjudge to be true. and forasmuch
as it apeareth unto us the said Justices upon the Oath of
Richard Woods aforesaid That the Served his apprenticeship
to one

and no other legal Settlement
elsewhere appearing unto in Since We do also adjudge the
said parish of St Giles without Cripplegate to be the place of then last
legal Settlement

These are therefore in his Majesty's name to will & exquire
you the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said
Parish of St Andrew Holborn forthwith to remove and to very
the said Richard Woods with Mary his wife & child
from out of your said parish unto the said parish of St Giles
wthout Cripplegate and them deliver unto the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor there Some or one of them who are
hereby required to receive and provide for them according to
Law. Given under our hands and Seals this 18c day of
