Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us whose
hands and Seals are hereunto Sett two of his Majties Justices of
the peace for the City of London (Quorm Unus) by the
Churchwarden and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
St Dunstans in the East
London That

lately come into the
Said Parish endeavouring to Settle there contrary to Law and
unless timely prevented are likely to become chargeable
thereunto which We do adjudge to be true. and forasmuch
as it apeareth unto us the said Justices upon the Oath of the
Said Robert Pearson That about Eight & Twenty years agoe
his Mother

said parish of Allhallows Barking London to the place of their last
legal Settlement

These are therefore in his Majesty's name to will & require
you the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said
Parish of St Dunstans in ye East forthwith to remove and coming
the said Robert Pearson and Jane his Wife
from out of your said parish unto the said parish of Allhall
Barking London and them deliver unto the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor there Some or one of them who are
hereby required to receive and provide for them according to
Law. Given under our hands and Seals this 21t day of
February anno Din 1723
