WHEREAS Compaint hath this Day been made
unto us two of HisMajesty's Justices of the
Peace for this City, and the Liberties thereof (Quorum
unus) by You the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of St. Sepulchre
London, That David Dunken< no role > and Margaret< no role > his Wife
are lately come into and are now resident in

your said Parish of St. Sepulchre not having obtained any
legal Settlement there, and are likely to become charge-
able thereto by reason of their Poverty and the Blindness
of the said David Dunkenunless timely prevented,
which Complaint we adjudge to be true. And forasmuch
as it appears unto us by the Oath of the said David Dunken
that about fourteen years ago he served his Apprentiship
with one George Rowland< no role > a Sawyer in East Smith Feild in
the Parish of St. Botolph without Aldgate in the County of
Middx And that he by any meanes whatsoever hath

not obtaind.and subsequent Settlement. We the said Ju-
stices are therefore of Opinion, and do adjudge the last
legal Settlement of the said David Dunken and the
said Margaret his Wifeto be in the said
Parish of St. Botolph without Aldgate in the County
of Middlesex aforesaidand that thitherto they
ought by Law to be sent.

THESE are therefore in His Majesty's Name to re-
quire You to remove and convey the said David Dunken
from and out of your said Parish of St. Sepulchre
London, to the said Parish of St. Botolph
without Aldgate in Middxand them leave with
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or
one of them, who is and are hereby required to receive
and provide for themaccording to Law. Hereof sail
not, and this shall be your Warrant. Given under our
Hands and Seals the Sixth Day of AugustAnno
Domini 1724 .
